"Episodes" so frustrating to search for

Freaking ridiculous. Comcast On Demand has skipped Ep 6. Searching is very very frustrating as searching for "Episodes" brings up tons and tons of episodes I am not looking for. Showtime Anytime does not work for Comcast. Can anyone please point me to a way I can watch this now? I am frustrated with BT since the last time I tried that the audio sync was way off.

Heh.

Kinda like trying to Google "H+"...

Sometimes people get a little too clever with their titles without considering the age we live in.

BT can be pretty reliable for episodes (ahem) that are more than a few hours old...just make sure you check for possible torrents with "repack" or "proper" in the title, which means it's fixed from an earlier version.

Searching for torrents of Episodes is not any easier.

I've been told it can be done.

BTW, I had no problem searching for the series on UVerse.

I never had a problem searching for Episodes on usenet. I would search for "episodes x264 720p". If I wanted to get fancy, I'd throw in a "S02E06" or something.

I never use bit torrent. Don't even have it installed on my PC.

I encountered this problem when searching for a guy named Bill Smith. Turns out there are several. I did finally track down the right one.

Kind of like googling for Barenaked Ladies.

Same here. I will sometimes just add the S02 or whatever season it is to filter out the older seasons.

Try here. http://eztv.it/

Either the drop down "Select Show" search or just type episodes into the search field next to it.

Episodes season 2 has been available via bittorrent for several months. It aired in the UK starting in April or May I think. It's very easy to find. Tell Comcast to shove it.

Episode 6 is available online at the xfinity site. Showtime will also rebroadcast this episode on 25 August at 9:30P on SHO2.

Thanks Amnesia, I searched but missed that.
Does anyone think the omission from OnDemand was intentional?

Yes. It's all a conspiracy. Comcast knows they are doomed. The best they can hope for it to make "mistakes" and turn people onto using BT which will allow them to charge for huge bandwidth overages.

Well, I did e-mail various people and I am sure it was a coincidence but the episode is now there in OnDemand. Good ep, definitely worth all the hassle <grin>.
