showing time and remainder of show on screen

Hi,
In the past on the bottom of my screen, it showed the current time and how much time of the recorded show had elapsed. It does not any more. I can not figure out what I did. Can someone suggest how I can get this info back? Thank you.

Do you just mean the regular time bar, or a clock of the current time of day?

If the latter, then you must have used one of the "select play select" codes. Find a thread discussing those, and re-enter whichever one you used. Presumably your Tivo rebooted (you lost power perhaps?), and that setting was undone.

Thank you. I found the thread. then saw that you have to play a recorded show for it to work and all is working well. Thank you again.

That's not true. However, when doing it on live tv, the channel will change in the process.
