I could really use a copy of the same image, as my RS-TX20 is starting to hint that it wants a new HD.
Thanks!

As I mentioned, I just need your email address so I can send it to you, because it's 290 mbs.

In theory anyone who needs a Toshiba RS-TX20 image should easily be able to find it by reading this thread.

Tivo Image
Okay, so I found a site where I don't need people's email addresses, so here's the link for the Tivo image. I don't know how long this link will last, so grab it while you can.

My apology for bringing this thread to life again.
My TX20 just died, and was wondering if anyone still has got the image. I tried all the links in this thread, and they are not valid anymore.
Thanks.

Read my previous posts to explain what I did. I haven't done it in a while, so I would say just use what I wrote as a guide.

1 of my rs-tx20's died. I see nothing in the display. I think the PS must have failed. Are they rebuildable? I am going to take it apart and check for bad caps.

Hello all, my TX20's HD has started the click of death... I can't justify spending $40 for an InstantCake download. Does anyone have an image that they could share? I can be reached at clarke108 at x-net.net. Thanks in advance!

Purchased the image from dvrupgrade. Instant cake is pretty primitive. I had to do some unorthodox maneuvers to make it work with my SATA drive connected via USB.

Now that you have it, you can use MFS Live and WinMFS to make truncated backup images to stick on a free DropBox account for the benefit of others.
If you let me get DB to send you an invitation and sign up using it, we both get extra free space.

toshiba rs-tx20 drive image
Hi!
Looks like the image files posted in the past have died... HD in my trusty old machine bit the dust... I have a new drive ready to go, just need an image file to reboot it with. (been so many years since I did my backup, that the Tivo outlived the PC and I have lost my copy!) Anyone still monitoring this thread that could possibly PM me with a link to download? Many Thanks in advance!
Ryan
