The Killing | "Keylela" | Season 2 Ep 7 | 5-6-12
Holder is in trouble again! That guy.....you know trouble just follows him around.
Linden running away from Family Services? Really??? That one just didn't work for me.
It appeared to me that this episode was all about how the cops on the case are in trouble, not anyone else.
And the actor playing Stan Larson is yelling again. He needs to make other choices in his scenes. For me, that's getting old.
What did the rest of you think?

It moved the story along a tiny bit. Is Holder alive? That is a legit question to be answered next week.
The question I have, is why did they give her full custody of the kid. Is the father a better parent or just trying to punish Linden using the kid? Also at that age the kid does have some say in all of this.

Linden is not very observant for a homicide detective. How did she let that woman sneak up on her in the middle of a field with little bush or tree cover?
I cannot remember that woman's name but she certainly has no fear of repercussions. That's brazen to beat up and possibly kill Holder while calling Linden so she can listen in. Even on an Indian reservation you do not get away with something like that unless you have very powerful friends in government and law enforcement, and even then it is risky.

She's probably a Walking Dead fan (where that kind of thing happens routinely).

That was one old prostitute at the casino bar.
What about the maid who recognized Holder and said she returned Rosie's backpack? I did not recognize her. Was she one of the girls from Rosie's school that Holder visited last season?

Yeah. I am at the point where I hate EVERY single character in this show but Holder. If they kill him off this week (which I doubt they will) but if they do I may be DONE!
Linden is a HORRIBLE lead. Don't you need to have SOME redeeming qualities from your lead character? Something to have the audience want to like you?
She is a bad cop, bad parent, bad everything.
Ugh....
And the whole Casino mob thing in the wood is just stupid.

Interesting that they pointed out that officials in the tribe complained about the gangsta lady. You think they could have done something about it. The land is not owned by individuals but the tribe as a whole. Where did this woman get the power?

There have been cases like that around here...very corrupt "elected" tribal leaders who in fact wield almost absolute power.

Stan may have raised his voice in the past but that scene with the sister was very intense.
I do not understand the people that watch the show every week and then feel the need to post here how much they hate it. Comical.
Anyway, Holder can't be dead because how else would Linden find out about the maid the backpack and "11AM tomorrow" message...

Well, I too find it odd. Why are you watching something you so obviously hate? I can understand watching some of it, as you always hope a show might get better, but some just can't give it up.
I've said it before, so I hope I don't sound like a broken record, but it's a good, not great show. I like Mireille Enos, and her protrayal of a troubled cop and mother. There are other parts of the show that are pretty good.

Couldn't have said it any better. Certainly not the level of Breaking Bad or Justified....but entertaining nonetheless...

I assume the maid knew Rosie from seeing her in the casino.

Didn't Rosie either work at the hotel or hang around there for some reason? I cannot remember if this has been determined. Good place to meet her biological father but we know that was not it.

Does anyone think it is creepy how often this guy posts about how I am on his ignore list? I hope it is not like a 9-year-old who pulls the pigtails of the girl he likes.

I thought he was joking. I was talking about how the maid knew Holder (and seemed to trust him) when she saw him walk past her in the casino. And tiam's response was that she knew Rosie from the casino. Ba-da-bum, boom!
See, I was talking about Holder, how did the maid know Holder. And tiam responded like I was wondering about the glaringly obvious fact that the maid knew Rosie because they were friends from the casino.
