Anybody watching Devil's Ride on Discovery?

I know nothing of motorcycles but this was fascinating!

I can't believe that blonde "old lady" just whacked that photog over the head with a bottle! She's trouble!

Looks like the club is in for some big changes with the new youngbloods.

Watching this made me realize how dead-on accurate Sons of Anarchy is in many ways. I really enjoyed it and am surprised Gipsy is willing to just let go of the club he created.

Is this a new show with Devi Arnaz, Jr?

I haven't seen him in years...

Yeah...if he doesn't like the current direction with the new blood, why not just get together with the "OGs" and get rid of the trouble guys.

Heck the club is only 5 years old, maybe they are heavily influenced by SOA instead...

I don't know about this show but it feels totally fake to me. I smell some strong scripting. I've been a biker so-to-speak for 20+ years and not once have I encountered anything like on this show or SOA nor had a problem with police. I've rode extensively in Southern CA, FL, and SC and toured most of the US. Every biker I've met has been a great person and I've never been on the side of the road (even to make a mobile phone call) without another biker pulling over to ask me if I needed help even if they were in a pickup truck. Also, if you go back and watch the B&W interviews in at least two scenes the interviewees face was in black & white but their neck was in color. It's like they did some 1/2 as*ed rushed editing job. Also, the scene where the guy beat the photographer up was totally wrong. No way do you get to beat on a photog like that without legal repercussions. Anything in plain sight of the public is rightly free game for anyone taking photos (like it or not). I'm also a photographer who happens to ride a bike FWIW. The show seems to me like they're trying to make something out of nothing. All that stuff about the police presence at the business/clubhouse is BS. If this club is even real I bet they were going to get a new clubhouse anyway. This whole thing screams fake.

I would agree that it seems highly staged.

Thanks for the warning. I have been burnt by overly scripted Reality shows in the past.

The club may be real but I think they all must be posers.

I'm not sure any real MC would allow cameras to follow them around.

5 years just doesn't seem that long to really establish an MC with any real history IMO.

Not terribly impressed. As vertigo said, not sure a real MC would want cameras around. I wonder if the show is how they are financing that new clubhouse?

I'm officially done with this show. I'm not buying anything that is going on. I think the whole thing is fake and I'm out! lol

I think I'm going to bail too. I've only watched the first episode so far and I liked it but I really have no desire to watch the others I have on my Tivo. Oh well.
