Is it possible to "jailbreak" a tivo box?
I have tivo premier with rcn. I also subscribe to netflix and hulu plus on my laptop and want to have the apps on my tivo box as i have seen is available on non rcn tivo prem boxes. is there any software I can download? Its kinda frustrating they limit what you can see on it.

Netflix is included on the series 3 boxes and newer. No Hulu Plus, however.

Why don't you just dump the RCN box and get a "normal" premier and use it with RCN cable via cable card?

If you just want Netflix and Hulu buy the cheapest Playstation 3 you can find.

Or an Xbox. You'll get HBO Go, Xfinity app, Hulu Plus, and Netflix. But you have to be a Live member.
