Just heard about the cancellation.
I doubt that anyone would ever refer to it as great television, but I found this show to be consistently entertaining.
The final episode was considerably darker than most of the rest of the season, but it was probably done this way because they weren't confident of renewal. They managed to leave things so that while they could have picked things up in season 2, with Leo getting Walter released from prison, followed by the two of them 'finding' Willa and restoring Isobel's job, the final episode was still capable of serving as a decent series finale. The series might not have ended up the way I would have preferred, but then, not all stories need an "they lived happily ever after" ending.
I'm going to miss this series.
