All three pieces have connetion for the standard Red-Yellow-White cabling.
What I am trying to do is view the recorded show and record it onto DVD.
I have called Direct TV and all they give me are excuses.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The yellow cable is what's called baseband composite video, and the white and the red are the baseband left and right channel, respectively, audio.
They are also sometimes referred to as the line level inputs or outputs, a holdover from audio equipment.
Those are, of course, analog signals.
You could try going from the output jacks of the TiVo to the input jacks of the DVD, and from the output jacks of the DVD to the input jacks of the television, and leave the DVD's program source selector set to "input".
If recording the TiVo's analog output on the DVD, you can monitor it with the TV, you just can't do anything with the TiVo except let it play. No pausing, rewinding, fast forwarding, etc., or that will wind up on the DVD recording.
So it'll be like watching TV in the old pre-VCR days.
Want to go to the bathroom? Better get it done during the commercials.
Do the satellite TiVos have the "Save to VCR" feature that the standalone units have?
That might come in handy.
