The showrunner of Gossip Girl?
A show which has vacuous cardboard caricatures of people running around and getting involved in unlikely and unrelateble situations.
I can't see how that's going to mesh with Smash.
I really thought that this episode was total crap.
I don't care about the characters so all the melodrama with everyone sleeping with everyone else made no impression on me.
The production issues made no impression on me either so all we had left were the performances.
