30 Rock - 5/3
I couldn't make it all the way through. That was horrible. I didn't particularly like last week's live episode, but this one was unwatchable. It probably doesn't help that I can't stand the Angie character.
Some shows really pull off these themed episodes (see Community). 30 Rock should stick to the formula.

Sherri Sheppard should get an Emmy for being able to create a character who is even more irritating and unlikeable that she herself is in real life.

Worst episode of 30 Rock ever. Why would you even air something so terrible?

Agree that it was horrible. Then it was made even more horrible by the fact that our local affiliate butchered the airing. They apparently missed an entire segment, as we got the Lorne Michaels vanity card about 22 minutes into the show. It came back from commercial, aired the tag, and then started airing The Office about 26 minutes into the show. Suddenly, it cut back to the last segment of the show and repeated what had already been shown. For most shows, I'd go online and watch the part that I missed, but since the whole concept of a reality show starring Tracy's wife is completely repellent to me, I'm totally fine that I missed part of it.

I had no idea Lorne Michaels did vanity cards. I thought that was a Chuck Lorre only thing. Now I'm going to have to look for them.

Chuck Lorre is the only one that I know of that customizes his every week. Most everyone else just has a static screen that says, "Produced by Lorne Michaels" or something to that effect.

That's what you get for living in Arizona, where they can't just take the show directly off NBC's feed during the DST months.

At least he could watch it. Here in St. Louis for the past 4 weeks KSDK preempted both 30 Rock and Community not once but twice. They would air them on Sunday at 11:30 pm. One of the things they preempted for was a locally produced special for Olympics. Something that doesn't happen for 3 months now.

Ugh. I didn't see that this was another Queen of Jordan episode until I went to watch it. I decided to power through.
I made it three minutes, the DVR locked up and I decided it was not meant to be. I'll probably watch it eventually, but you know when I choose a Wings rerun over a new 30 Rock, it's a bad, bad sign.

I agree. I can definitely see how it would not be liked (and was prepared for the thread to be a big thumbs down fest), but there was enough subtle humor in it that made me laugh a lot.
Kenneth (after his first experience as a runway model) "What's cocaine like?"
Everyone inexplicably lining up to kiss Jack after we learn it's "his way" to greet people.
Grizz's belated "Game of Thrones" spoiler.
Liz's toy gift for the baby seamlessly switching from a crackly toy to a stuffed animal because it was annoyingly loud on mic.
Tracy listing Liz's entourage of previous b/f's and ending it with "James Franco."
Jenna's blurring.
Anything said by D'Fwan.
Do I want any more episodes like this ever? Not really. :P

I didn't love it but I do enjoy the Angie character and her co-stars do make me laugh. I did enjoy Liz's feud with the baby. Jenna was a bit too predictable. I feel like Hazel should have been in there somewhere.
The whole Jack/Avery's mother thing is just stupid.

About the only thing I liked about the episode. I am starting to wonder if 30 Rock writers have run out of ideas. I did like the live ep though. This one, not much.

I thought the moment at the end where Kenneth tripped on a different cord and they flashed to the cord with a subtitle, "That's Racist!" was pretty hilarious.
But the rest of it wasn't too good.

It was ok. There were a few funny moments, but I do not like the Queen of Jordan storyline much...
