Veep (4/29/12) "Frozen Yoghurt" [SPOILERS BE HERE]

I don't how this series will fare over the long haul, but this ep seems to have captured the mostly ceremonial nature of the V.P.'s job. My favorite part was after the discovery that POTUS wasn't actually suffering a heart attack, how quickly the situation room cleared. It wasn't LOL funny, but certainly was entertaining.

I liked it. It was funny at the end where she had horrible diarrhea and had to have the secret service carry her, and her aide didn't want to get into the car with her.

Last week they referenced a hat that the Veep wore during the campaign and called it one of her greatest mistakes. It made me want to see a photo or flashback of it. This week she mentioned eating a phallic food and said she wouldn't make that mistake again. So add that to my list.

Hogf&cker is my new favorite word.

I need to check out more stuff by Armando Iannucci.

Jonah, the guy from the white house is my favorite character.

Second ep was as good as the first. I really hope it gets renewed. Laughed out loud.

I think that was my take on the entire episode. Not lol funny but certainly humorous.

Yeah, I like white house guy too. He adds something that the show needs. I'm still watching, because I really like JLD, but it still feels forced to me. I think this ep was even better than the pilot, though.

I'm not a fan of toilet humor. JLD is better than that.

Oh, please. If Shakespeare wasn't above toilet humor, neither is JLD.
