missing a huge amount of channels

I have a Philip's series 1 with lifetime and AT&T uverse. The tivo has worked fine up until this morning. Last night I watched tv with no problem. This morning I am missing a huge chunk of my channels. BUT if I use the uverse remote I can get to the missing channels. Its only with the tivo remote it changes it to a black screen. I am missing channels 197-420 and 428-560 that I know of. Since Tivo isn't recognizing these channels that I get, they are not recording my season passes either. I've forced a daily call through 2x to see if that helps (it didn't) and also changed the ir codes. Its not working. I honestly don't know what else to try. The majority of the channels I watch are the missing ones.

Can anyone help me out please?

When you use the u-verse remote to change the channel, it shows up OK through the TiVo? When you use the TiVo remote, what channel does the u-verse box go to?

You might try redoing guided setup.
