So I was excited because I just bought a premiere elite, but now I am really frustrated trying to get the old one to work again. I set it up in a new room, but now I can't get the tuning adapter to work anymore. Initially all I could get was a continuously blinking light. After I changed USB cables I got a solid light, but the Tivo still doesn't find it. I tried restarting both devices several times with no luck.
The TWC support person just said to exchange the adapter, but it is the same one that worked before. After I hung up, I brought the adapter that was working on the Elite and the old Tivo can't find that one either. So now I don't know what to try. The old receiver I had in here wasn't having any trouble picking up channels, so I don't think it is a signal issue (and why would that prevent the Tivo from seeing the adapter at all).
Anybody know anything I can try?
