Not to mention he throws up every time he is in the back seat of a car. I felt so bad for him.

He'll probably drop 20 lbs on the Amazing Race.

Lessons learned from TAR...

1. Learn to drive stick.
2. Learn some basic phrases in common languages.
3. Learn how to ride in a car without throwing up.
4. ????

She used to be a Vegas waitress (or something like that) and she probably is used to wearing clothes like that.

Not that I'm a trademark lawyer, but I believe the main issue is whether or not two things would be easily confused by a normal person -- I'm pretty sure most people can tell the difference between a car and a cable network.

That said, I only ever pay attention to Showtime during free preview weeks, and hardly ever see any between-movie promos. I know their logo says "SHO," but do they even use the "show" pronunciation in any way -- with an announcer saying "you're watching 'show,'" "next on 'show,'" "visit 'show dot com'"?

And that said, pronunciation wouldn't really enter into it. If either entity had a problem with the other's use of the letters "SHO," they probably would have sued over it already (and Ford's been using it longer, but as I said before, it probably wouldn't matter, since there's a big difference between a car and a cable network).

I dunno... Between oil squeegee a man and search for an apple in an apple stack, I'll choose the apples.

She must have a contract with the Irish-American Association. Green is horrible color for her. She had somewhat better fashion sense in BB at least as far as having a varied color palette in wardrobe.

Nary and Jamie were going so slow in the apple challenge I thought they had the clue wrong...like they were expected to find and read a clue printed on the apples.

The challenge definitely sped up once people saw an example of the apple with the red and yellow prominently sticking out of it, but I could understand being a little too cautious, maybe, about overlooking the right apple having NOT yet seen it. Looking back, I'm not sure what I would have envisioned from the clue.

Trainman beat me to it, but the Taurus SHO has been around a lot longer than Showtime has owned the sho.com domain. If anyone is infringing (which I don't think they are), it would be Showtime.

You don't "learn" that. Some people are much more susceptible to motion sickness than others...

in the apple challenge i'm surprised more people didn't pick the green apples, a red and yellow clue would stick out a lot more than in a red apple

+1

They all know "race colors" are red and yellow. If you have to find an "apple marked with race colors", why not pick the green apples?

Never thought of the green apples idea but it's a good one.

Yes, the folks who did the Apple task came in behind the ones that did the oil but were they not already behind those people anyway? Maybe they just didn't gain any ground or were further behind than we thought.

That's the one thing I'd love to see, how long it actually takes each team to do each task. I realize they need to make everyone appear fairly close and it's easy to do with editing but I've been surprised in the past by how long (and how short) some of these tasks are when teams are interviewed after the race.

Basketball on Sunday, still????

still have tons of shows to catch up on, plus that lets me record both Fox & Once upon a time (way behind) on my TivoHD, so that's ok.

I wonder if he's tried Dramamine for his motion sickness? It does seem pretty bad, though.

Zev, from a past Amazing Race, was on Dr. Drew tonight talking about Aspergers. Very interesting.
