What's with the outtakes on Pardon The Interruption?

For the past two days the cameras have cut back to the set during commercial breaks. They come back for maybe 10 seconds at a time, sometimes doing it twice during a break, in between commercials. You see them getting their makeup refreshed or someone doing something to their wardrobe while they chat about nothing in particular.

When it happened a couple of times yesterday I assumed it was just a technical glitch. But, when it happened again today I have to think it's deliberate - or else their post production is *really* lazy.

No wardrobe malfunctions or obscene language. So far. :-)
