tivo dvd burner question?

i bought the humax with the dvd burner. well i have been trying to burn movies and it wants to me to put them on 2 sometimes 3 disks. these movies aren't longer than 2 hours. i feel i must be doing something wrong. also is anyway to combine t.v. shows so i can put a bunch of episodes on one disk.

Record time has to do with the record quality of the Tivo'd show.

Basic Quality: 6hrs on DVD
Medium Quality: 4hrs on DVD
High Quality: 2hrs on DVD
Best Quality: 1hr on DVD

And yes you can put multiple shows on one disk as long as the record quality isn't too high and you have room.

Just think ahead.

When you record a show to the TiVo's hard drive, ask yourself "Will I want this on DVD?"

If you will be putting it on DVD later, use the quality setting that will let it fit.
