Anyone else wonder why Bill Rancic is the only one to come back? I think Kelly came back for one episode, but Bill has been back multiple times. Does anyone know if any of the other winners still work for Trump?
By the way I found this old article about bogusocity of winning the Apprentice.

The show is called "The Apprentice", not "The Apprentii". There should only be one.
Speaking of the others, I saw the other day that Rebecca from the last group was just hired to work as a reporter for CNBC. She was a "Financial Journalist" prior to the show, so it isn't too out of place.

I just feel something's missing from this season. Maybe it's because we've seen no interaction with the companies they've been working with. Maybe they don't want to show that corporate big wigs being completely disappointed with the marketing strategies from the teams. If I was an executive from Gillette, I'd pretty much declare both teams the losers for having no marketing strategy.

There are quite a few contestants that have maybe a total of 60 seconds of screen time in total so far. You gotta believe that these people will be the ones around in later rounds.

I think they either pick too many people or they need to not choose people who are just for the entertainment value . The first season of shows like this are usually the best as people don't know what to expect coming in. The first season was great, most of the contestants were good and there was minimal drama. Now everybody has a strategy coming in, forming alliances, and have the let's blame the loss on the person who "can't be managed", "needed constant babysitting", "brought too much negative energy to the table" instead of doing what they can to win the task. They make excuses for losing prior to knowing if they lost or not. If I wanted the drama and alliances, I'd watch Survivor.

Becuase he is the best?
Seriously all the other "winners" have very little appeal:
Kelly - As exciting as a rock.
Kenrda - Really has a high opinion of herself. I heard she charges huge sums of money for "appearance" fees. Bill, OTOH, does most events for free.
Randall - Blew his chance when he dissed Rebecca at the finale.

Check out Kendra's website. It is amazingly annoying. Apparently she appears on some radio show as Special Agent 52, hence the dumb Special Agent 52 all over her amazingly overdone website.
it is kendratodd.com or kendratodd.net

Keep in mind when they do the Interviews of the final four, two get canned there.
This multiple firing...did this happen in the first season? Weren't there only 16 candidates the first time around? Perhaps they only have a certain # of episodes, and depending on the # of people, Trump has to figure out how many to fire when.
That 13 week business doesn't sound right. The way the people talk, they finish one task, then still don't get much sleep, so are still tired when Rhonda calls them the next morning to meet Donald somewhere.

Lenny is so funny. He has a cold demeanour, but that is what is funny, and he is right. Pick air, earth, water, letter A, it can be anything.
Pepi had bad leadership. He should have let Brent have his say, and then the whole team could have moved on instead of wasting so much time. Summer kept on cutting in front of what he was saying which is not cool. Enjoyed watching Brent dancing.

No drama the first season? What about Omarosa!

A "week" on the Apprentice is actually 3 days. They have a similar shooting schedule as Survivor, about 39 days with each episode usually lasting 3 days.

Am I the only one that noticed the Seinfeld restaurant in the background when they were showing Michael talk?

Because he's the only one that seems to really have the business figured out?

Also, either the producers aren't showing us everything that is going on behind the scenes or they are creating drama where none exists? I could actually see Stacy having a problem (as lame as it was), but for the whole team to have a problem with Brent isn't coming across my television screen. From the beginning they've shown rolling eyes and looks to the camera from the teammates whenever Brent speaks, but unlike Markus last year, I haven't seen where all the contempt is coming from.
|
I just watched this episode (OK, I'm a little behind ), and I was wondering the same thing. Is it just that he's a "fat slob" (my words, not theirs ) that they don't like? Or something that nobody has been able to capture on camera? Because what they've shown is pedestrian stuff... he has made some real contributions IMO, and they all seem to react like he's Ralph Wiggum or something. He was definitely not the reason they lost this task.
I'm off to watch the following episodes, maybe that will clue me in...
