possible cause of roamio reboots?

i have an asus router. the router was losing wireless connections somewhat frequently and also occassionally losing hardwired connections. after some investigation i noticed that my router was rebooting several times throughout the day and router uptime was measured in hours or minutes at a time. turns out that the firmware version had a known bug and many people had the router rebooting issue. after upgrading the firmware the router rebooting has stopped.

after upgrading the firmware, i've noticed that my roamio rebooting has stopped as well. so is it possible that the roamio reboots occur when internet connectivity (or LAN connectivity) is unstable?

That is possible, as they kept asking me if mine was directly connected to the Router/Modem. Which it was. And as I work for my ISP I was able to see a stable connection, so that was not my issue.
