Very slow guide on TP 4 tuner

I sold a TP4 TiVo that I had upgraded with a WD 2Tb AV drive, worked in my home for the last year without problems, my customer has the TiVo working with a cable card from is cable co and has only one problem, a very slow guide in both HDUI and SDUI (it a little faster in the SD mode but still too slow) Also the new Glo Remote that I sent him with the TiVo will not bring up the guide using the Glo guide button, he has an ols TiVo remote and the guide button works.
Has anybody seen either of these problems with a TP4 as I never seen them.

Problem solved as it was for some reason the Glo remote, using a normal remote no problem.

Probably needed fresh batteries in the glo remote.

That was tried did not do the job, I will get back the Glo and I will try to see if this was operator error or what.
