I'm not sure why I like this series as much as I do. It is paced much more slowly than the shows I'm typically drawn to. It's almost languid, yet the craziness just under the surface keeps me tuning in. Reflecting back, I got much the same feeling from the show "Invasion" during its limited run. Has Bates Motel been picked up for a second season? It feels like not all that much happened in this one, looking back.

I wasn't at all surprised by the teacher's fate, but the show played it off like a shocking and unexpected reveal. I remember LOST used to do that, too. I wonder if that's just a Carlton Cuse thing. I noticed her B necklace, so she was the "other woman" of Bradley's father's affair, but I'm not sure why exactly we're supposed to care. I guess that will be explored more next season.

I don't mean to come across as being down on the series - it is actually my favorite new series, I think.

I've enjoyed Smash and am kinda sorry to see it go. But it's really become a mess, so not surprised.

Looks like the show will end with the Tonys. Anyone have any predictions? About anything for the show, who will win, what else might happen?

I think Derek will beat Tom for best director. I hope Ivy wins for lead over Karen. Wonder how much of the episode will be the actual awards show?

Not bad for a pilot. I thought it was quite funny in parts. We will see how long it lasts and if the quality stays pretty OK.

Haven't watched nor recorded the ep yet. I haven't even had a chance to finish last week's ep yet.

The show doesn't really feel like a must watch compared to other stuff I like and other things that are piling up on my TiVo. I don't even have a SP for it. I just record an upcoming showing of a new ep when I have space (low on space and record this show in HD) and have time to watch. It might end up on my low priority to record and watch list...

I have this on a Series 3 that I want to sell, but have kept it because it will not transfer to my New XL4...because of copy bits.

I just noticed that it is going on May 26th, Sunday, again but have a few questions for you "guys".

My original show(s) are THREE 2 hour segmants for a total of 6 HRS. However, the Tivo Schedule shows it on History HD as 3-4 PACIFIC TIME and then 4-5. BOTH have the same description. I bet these are the 2 hour PART 1 but will TIVO not record the second hour thinking I already have it? From 5-7 is Part 2. and 7-9 is the expected part 3. So, is this correct and how can I be sure I get all 6 hours?

Anyhow, that was still a pretty intense final scene.

Also, poor Monroe.... doubt he's got anyone around him willing to fall on a grenade for him. Maybe I'll be proven wrong.

But I'd put money on the fact that Monroe and Rachel will still be alive next week. Question is how? If they gave a clue in the previews I didn't see it because I try not to watch those.

We knew how this would end, three years and 40 episodes ago. Didn't make it any easier. But damn, I really enjoyed the ride.

I could make some remark about how dusty it is, or some such nonsense. But the truth is, the tears came freely.

The NK escapee portion was a rerun. The facial recognition story was interesting and scary. The MJ story was interesting and astounding. Haven't watched the extra hour that aired yet.

I'm running dangerously low on shows to watch for the summer... Right now I have the Killing and Dexter to look forward to, but Breaking Bad doesn't start until August and while I'll probably watch True Blood, it's not a show I like enough to get psyched about each week. Usually each summer I try to pick up a show I haven't seen that has a backlog, but I've made my way through just about everything I would want to watch...

Only thing I see on Netflix that I didn't already watch that looks like something I WOULD watch is Nikita, so it looks like that's gonna be it... Is a good show to get in to? I don't want to read any other threads for fear of spoilers... Just curious what people think of it. Watched the pilot and it seems to have an "Alias" vibe which is fine since that's one of my favorite shows. Does it stay serialized? Is it interesting over the three seasons it's been on?
