Anyone having trouble with 'stuttering' on THR-22?

We're long-time DirecTV users, and have had a THR-22 for about two weeks. It occasionally 'stutters,' like its losing the stream, but usually recovers after 5-8 seconds. Video gets pixelated and audio drops pretty much completely.

I don't think it's poor signal strength--I've not noticed any problems on our other receivers, including an HR-34.

It doesn't happen a lot, but it's enough to be fairly annoying. It seemed to happen most often at first, and I thought maybe background processes were creating contention for disk or memory. It did seem to settle down, but has been happening more frequently again.

call customer service. It can be a HDD issue. Several have been reported since jan with similar symptoms.

I had mine replaced 3 times in the first month. Bad HDD.
AS billux said, call customer service.

It only occurs on playback of recorded shows. Almost all times 8 sec skip backwards , then play, and it plays perfect. Seems to have issue with play back, not the recording itself. Tried reset and not as often but still there.
My other thr22 works fine.
