New TiVo Wireless N adapter Rattle

The splitter that comes with the adapter has something loose inside. Amazon sent exchange....same issue. Contacted TiVo support. Rep states this is "abnormal" and that the 90 days parts & labor was from Amazon not TiVo. They refused to honor their own warranty.

send it back and get a wireless n network bridge something like this NETGEAR WNCE2001 Universal WiFi Internet Adapter

I heard this once from Tivo also, that they don't have warranties on accessories bought from third parties. I.e. if you buy a slide remote, n adapter, etc, they don't honor the warranty. Seemed crazy to me - does anyone know if its true?
