Best way to backup shows, season passes, and other settings

What's the best way to backup a Premier XL under warranty without breaking that warranty. almost a TB of shows, Season passes, channel settings, VOD settings.

Is it even possible?

I guess I should have been more explicit.

I need to backup all shows, all season passes, all VOD subscriptions and keyword searches automatically.

I have lost this data a few times now due to failing TiVos, and it must not be a manual process.

What's the best avenue to explore to find this solution?

Surely other people have had these issues and some sort of solution exists?

Kmttg. just be aware the next version of the Tivo software may break this functionality.

SW like Tivo Desktop, kmttg, pyTivo, etc. can be set to back up your recordings automatically but nothing else. If you figure out how to get the rest done let us know.
