Which version stopped the unsub Pause from working?

I searched and couldn't find which software version disabled Pause if the TiVo doesn't have service. Anyone know? I have 14.5 now and I presume if it updates it will jump right to 20.x.

I believe that the live TV buffer was disabled with version 14.9.
20.x was the major update after that.
