Can you program a show to record on box A if you are sitting in front of and using box B? I want to rack an elite in a computer room and do all recording there, and play back to other tvs with premier units via MRS. can the elite be tv-less? Or would I have to schedule recordings with a browser or iPad app?

The only way to do that would be internet or handheld apps. There is as of yet no capability to remote schedule from one TiVo to another, no.
