Tivo Premiere Recurring Reboot Issue

OK. Another recent issue. When the TV is off for a while (Premiere with HDMI connection), the Tivo goes into reboot after I turn the TV back on (= wait a while before you can watch TV). A dead give-away is when I hear the fan noise (high speed) and the TV is off. Fan slows down again when TV is turned on. Chatted with support online but received no concrete help.

All the bugs make the product hard to recommend.

When I got my first Tivo HD, it rebooted a lot, I sent it back and they sent me a new one which has operated just fine for a few years.

You need to be more assertive with the customer support representative. They can either fix the issue or lose a customer.
