Has tivo telephone support been stopped for Australian customers?
I have tried to get to speak to a support line operator but all that happens is a voice telling me to go to the support site or email them.
There are no options to speak to anyone and then the call is just cut off.Location: Australia

It worked for me yesterday ... in that I talked to someone (not in that they actually helped me :rolleyes: )

I find this to be really stupid,pathetic and can't figure out what they are going to gain by this.This is a step backwards form tivo.I am amazed that some jerk has thought that this is a good idea and the tivo hierachy has okayed it.
How the heck can you hope to fix problems that were only done by talking to a support agent while viewing your screen.
I'm wondering if the other PVR mobs will now jump on this and quickly improve their own technical support and do clever ads jibing Tivo's idiocy.
Tivo needs to wake up before it becomes a second best laughing stock.

PS,.,I wonder why we weren't given this new tivo "improvement" via the on screen messages menu:mad::down:

I have just sent another email to tivo to explain to me why they have done this.
they have ignored the one I sent last week.
