I need to connect my Tivo Series 2 to my Wireless N-series router (D-link dir-615). The Tivo wireless N adapter will not connect as my Tivo series 2 does not have an Ethernet line (only phone). Can I use a wireless G adapter? Will it be compatible with the D-link N router?
Thanks!

Your router is backwards compatible with "G" adapters.

You can also use a USB Ethernet adapter, which is TiVo compatible.

You can use the Tivo Wireless G Adapter, but you must use 2.4GHz setting on your N Router.

I just purchased the TiVo Wireless N Network Adapter for my Tivo Series 2, along with a "Cisco Linksys USB300M USB 2.0 Ethernet Adapter". It works perfectly.
The Tivo adapter first needed to be connected to a computer for wireless connection setup. Then it can be connected to the Tivo box. The USB Ethernet Adapter is plug-n-play.
