re-activating cable card?

My cable co recently added 2 new channels to our HD lineup. They display and play fine on my cable box in the bedroom but they won't work on the premiere. I was able to manually add them in the channel list but still no info or signal. I tried restarting and redoing the guided setup to no avail. Tivo says I have to re-activate my cable card to receive them. Does this sound right? Shouldn't the card be able to do these things by itself? My cable co. dvr had the same kind of m-card in it and it was able to get the new stuff from the head end as needed.

Call your Cable Co as all that needed is a re-map of you cable card not re-pairing.
