Disturbing new ads in Discovery Bar

As annoying as many ads are in the Discovery Bar, at least you know they're ads. We do use the Discovery Bar to find new shows and don't really hate it... but I think we're about to. Today I've found two advertisements for movies that look exactly like normal Discovery Bar objects for TV shows. One was for the movie Conviction and I forgot what the other one is (it'll certainly pop up many more times). I selected Conviction to see what as I never heard of it and I guess due to lag or whatever the TV icon indicated this was a show available on TV so I selected it and it took me directly to an SD menu where I could by tickets. I had a serious WTF!?! moment because I expected it to bring me to the HD list of showings on TV not to go buy something. Then upon going back to the discovery bar the TV icon had disappeared and I realized it was a freeking ad. Extremely annoying.

You can edit the categories that appear in that bar by less, standard, frequent. One of the categoires is ads, but there are like 15 categories, maybe one is movies in theater.

Can't turn an individual category off, btw.

I Choose to avoid going to the discovery bar.

I like the Discovery Bar... I usually find something useful there once a week or so - mostly movies. If there's anything I don't want to see up there, I'll navigate to it and give it a single thumbs down.

I don't click on the ads. I've given them the lowest priority, but they don't really bug me that much.
