Thinking about buying a Humax Tivo DRT400.

has a lifetime subscription. transferrable to another unit?



Does it work w/ any CECB or a kworld QAM box(manual record)?

which converter box works best? guide data has 1subchannels like 10-2 etc?

Just to clarify, any Series2, with exception of the Dual Tuner (TCD649xxx) and the very rare TCD542xxx units, will work with any CECB Digital to Analog (DTA) converter box. All the TiVos with DVD players or writers are considered Series2 TiVos.

The TCD649xxx and the TCD542xxx units might be able to work with the CECB converters, but require some special setting in the guided setup.
