View Full Version : Error connecting to Blockbuster

Setup my new TiVo Premiere a week ago. Received 14.4 update Thursday night. System running ok. I can download You-Tube videos fine and network and port settings are ok.

I signed up at TiVo and Blockbuster to download movies then linked the accounts per the instructions in the TiVo manual. When I finish the process of ordering a movie from Blockbuster and entering my PIN code I receive an error that says "Order Unsuccessful" (sic).

I have repeated the process at least 10 times over the last few days. Same result each time.

Last night I called TiVo and explained the problem. The support rep said TiVo was having a known problem with the Media Access Key for many users and advised me to wait a few days and see if the problem was resolved.

I checked the Media Access Key settings. There is a key there. TiVo indicates that this key if for downloading media from local computers or other TiVo's. I am NOT trying to do that. I am just trying to order a movie from Blockbuster. I do not wish to setup accounts with Netflix or Amazon.

Anybody else experiencing this "known problem" or have any suggestions? Thanks!
