What better way to enjoy the final episode extravaganza than to eat a LOST-themed dinner!
But what should be on the menu? Red Herring? Fried Chicken? A jar of peanut butter?
Does anyone have any great LOST-inspired recipe's they would like to share?

You need a bunch of products with DHARMA Initiative labels (http://maxpictures.com/weblog/2007/04/10/lost-labels-for-your-dharma-initiative-needs/) on them. :)

It has to be an invisible jar of imaginary peanut butter.

Apollo candy bars, and various desserts made from them.
Mock Polar Bear soup?
Fresh tomatos from the garden out back. Well, just one fresh tomato, actually.
There's only one wine selection on the menu, but the sommelier is very insistent on it being drunk with the proper decorum and ritual.
Save time by ordering from the combination plate menu: we especially recommend combination plates #4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42.
There should be a special family discount if you don't bring your estranged father.

Just watch Dinner: Impossible on food network this week. He has to make dinner for the cast and crew on the beach with only things they would have available to them.

What did they feed Jack when he was in the dharma prison? I think it was Grilled cheese.

I think Jack got a burger. Sawyer got a grilled cheese.
There would be no better place for some MacCutcheon Whisky that the Lost finale.

Just watched that episode earlier this week. Juliet offered a grilled cheese but that was when Jack was still being stubborn, so Juliet ate it. Then he had a burger, and at one point soup.
So far the only thing I've seen Sawyer get is fish biscuits ("it only took the bears two hours!" "Yeah, how many of them were there?" :p). But, I haven't seen all the episodes where they're captured yet.

If I can find some 18 or even 30-year, maybe. I'm not shelling out $1,000+ for a bottle of the 60-year stuff.
Juliet brought Jack both a grilled cheese sandwich and a cheeseburger. Not sure if she ever brought Sawyer anything.

I remember distinctly someone giving him a sandwich and doubling up the paper plate to shove it through the bars.

We thought about doing this as well, but ultimately decided it would be better to have actual good food and enjoy the show than to have random, bland food just to fit the theme. One show that DOES lend itself to good food with a theme is Treme. We've made red beans and rice, muffaletta (sp?), chicory coffee semifreddo, etc.

We ended up doing sashimi, Jin-style, and seaweed salad. I did print some DHARMA logo's for a few assorted items!
