AT&T U-verse question

I"m thinking about switching from Cox in OC Ca to AT&T u-verse and looking for feed back Can this be done? Has anybody done this? and is so how is it? Also I have tuning adapters do need to change them and the cable cards? Thanks for any help you can give.

Uverse is IP based and does not use cablecards, none of the HD Tivos (S3, HD, Premiere) will work with the Uverse service.

U-Verse does not use cable cards, as it is not "cable" but "IP TV." The S3 will not support it. You can use a series 2, with a U-Verse STB, to record standard definition.
