View Full Version : Can I use an S-Card until VZ Comes?

I know I need an M-Card in order to get DUAL Tuner usage, but, until Verizon comes to swap my two S3 S Cards, can I get any functionality out of an S-Card in the PXL until they do that? Like Single-tuner?

At least one person indicated that S-CARDs are unsupported.

Is that opinion based on what AbMagFab read in the FAQs, or was it stated that AbMagFab inserted an S-Card into the Premiere and did not got an unencrypted signal on one of the tuners? M-Card is required for dual tuner capabilities, and I am stating this as an opinion, but I would think the S-Card would/should work for one tuner.

I'm glad i swapped my eight S-cards on FiOS for five M cards in December.

You need to update your signature, it only shows 4 on FiOS.

His sig is correct. The S3 has 2 M-Cards (just like mine) because it doesn't actually support using a single card for multiple tuners.
