Tivo Premiere has a digital audio output. Is this just a Left/Right stereo output? Is it the sound any better than the analog audio outputs? Thanks.

Digital optical out support 5.1 audio, if you like surround sound.

The same thing my TiVo box with DirecTV in 2001 had.
