There are now about ten different threads with as many as 5 pages long all talking about the new unit. Some of these take forever to go thru. So here is one place to post your go, no go thoughts all in one place.
For me there isn't enough added to it to make it worth while getting rid of a HD or Ser3. More recording time can be done with a hard drive replacement or even the external hard drive. The HD GUI, to me isn't worth spending $600 to have. I don't spend enough time looking at menues to make it worth while. I would like to see a way to transfer a Lifetime subscription from a S2 to a Premieum at a small fee and then trash the S2.
