Does anyone know if the Premiere is still running the same unix core under the UI? It seems that we should still be able to use WinMFS if it is. HOWEVER, if it is totally rebuilt from the ground up, we will have no way (atleast for awhile) to "artifically" upgrade and/or replace the drive in it, right?

Same here. If not, then S3/THD models will become very valuable.

Also, looks like Tivo isnt selling the THDs on their site anymore.

Right now, the new slick interface isnt all that appealing to me. Too busy as some others have commented.
