Is this thing dead in the water? Do any of you happen to have one in your home yet (or still)?

I have had the Comcast TIVO HD box for about a year now. Up until Wednesday, it has worked great, even the Online Scheduling piece.
Apparently, they did a software update on Thursday, and now I can't edit or delete any of my season passes, nothing in the To Do list after 2/2 (Unless NCIS Los Angelos is a new episode and it is not listed), and the online scheduler is blank for the To Do List and Season Passes.
I am in Middleton, MA (North Shore).
I called them last night and they said it would be escalated and take 3 days to fix. I am going to check back Monday.

I currently have one and they are alright. I love that I get OnDemand but sometimes it glitches and messes up a recording. THere are also issues with picture and sound, but those are more likely HDMI issues. Overall I like it but not nearly good as an actual Tivo. The thing that keeps me from getting the Tivo is the high up front cost and lack of VOD. I only pay $9.95 for my Comcast Tivo and can watch many new shows on VOD which allows me to record many more shows.

Just talked to several Comcast techs where I live (St. Paul, MN) and none of them had even heard about a TIVO/Comcast arrangement in other areas. I like the idea of a Comcast/TIVO link because of my concern that if I have a problem with TIVO reception or anything Comcast will say not a Comcast problem, it is a TIVO problem and TIVO will say not a TIVO problem it is a Comcast problem leaving me without a solution.

I'm in Belmont, MA and it works like a charm! I have phone, internet, and cable so there was not added charge. The OnDemand portion lags a little, but other than that its great. Honestly, one of the best parts is the TiVo remote.

Just ordered Comcast last Saturday. I asked the service rep via chat when Comcast w/ Tivo would be available in Philadelphia area and they said "next month". Anyone else hear this?

I keep getting a Description Hidden Message in the channel bar and in the info area of the guide. I don't see a setting to hide or unhide descriptions anyone have a clue?
I have also experienced my sound shutting off intermittently while I am channel surfing. The sound will shut off and I have to either power cycle the DVR or sometimes if I keep advancing the channels the sound will come back when I get to certain channels.
This has only happened since I had the Tivo upgrade.

We're still waiting for it here in Baltimore. I wish they would just hurry up already. We have a HD Tivo, a series 2 Tivo and a Comcast DVR. Comcast Motorola DVR box is painfully slow compared to Tivo. I would have only Tivo boxes but then wouldn't be able to have OnDemand service available.

Comcast is updating it's own guide on Motorola boxes. I got a message that it's due in my area April, 20. It will have many of the TiVo features including folders, wishlists for actor/director/title, batch deletions, internet scheduling, five minute tick marks and so on.
Here is a video to explain some of the details. http://hd.engadget.com/2010/01/14/comcasts-guide-software-adds-brains-but-beauty-remains-elusive/

Just to update: I did not get the A28 update on April 20. I was told from a Comcast rep that that will be sometime in May.
