I was wondering if there was somehow I could find out (other than calling the CSRs at Comcast) if the Comcast TiVo DVRs are available in my area (Atlanta). Everytime I've mentioned the Comcast TiVo DVRs to anyone at Comcast I've been told that there is no such thing (which is wrong.) I don't have much faith in their responses since off the bat I know they are wrong.

Anyone that has the Comcast TiVo DVR, where are you located and how did you find out about it? Thanks.

same CSRs don't know jack here in Denver... its funny that if you go to comcast.com and log into your account, they try and sell you a ComcastDVR... redirect you to another website, which doesn't show you its available, and the CSRs are like "the DVR what?"

I'm in Boston and it's pretty common knowledge here.

You can find out if it is available in your area by going to http://www.comcast.com/tivo/ then click on the button labeled "Check Availability" (about 1/3 down on the right side), where you will have to enter a zip code and it will tell you if it is available or not. If not yet available, you have the option to enter an email address and have them inform you when it becomes available.

Thanks for the info. I can't help but wonder why they haven't rolled these out all over yet. I was reading an article written back in 2007 discussing the TiVo/Comcast DVR. 2 plus years and not available here in Georgia.

They really are COMCASTIC!!! ;)
