How to go from no cable box to cable box

I've never had to use a cable box, now I do. I have a Humax DRT800 with no manual. I understand the external wiring. What do I need to do settings wise to go to a cable box? I hope I don't have to go thru the Guided Set-Up all over again ...

I believe you will need to do GS since you need to tell TiVo that the channel changes are going through the cable box and not the internal tuner.
