Upgraded to Tivo Desktop 2.7 Now Transfers from Pc to Tivo wont work

Just Upgraded from Tivo Desktop 2.7 to 2.8 (Pc running Windows Vista 32-bit SP2) and now none of my Videos will transfer to any of my 4 Tivos (3 series 2 Tivos, and 1 HD series 3 Tivo) on the series 3, the blue light will come on and go back off, and it will say "will transfer later" but it never does. on series 2 Tivos, it says it's unable to transfer video, and to check the recording history. before i upgraded to Tivo Desktop 2.8, everything was working fine and all my videos were transferring fine.I tried reinstalling 2.7, but the videos still wont transfer. I setup Tivo Desktop 2.7 on my other pc (Running Windows 7 32-bit) with the same extrenal usb drive, and the videos transfer fine. i tried the Tivo clean ultitly thing and that didn't help. does anybody know how i can fix this problem? Thanks.

You could downgrade back to 2.62 or even 2.5 but you need to uninstall 2.7/2.8 and perhaps run the clean utility before installing. I have seen posts of problems with 2.7 and now even the newly released 2.8.

hmmm.. with Tivo Desktop 2.62, it dont even show the Now Playing list for the Pc. I didnt have a problem until i upgraded top 2.8.
