Holy cow! When Michael shouted "No! You shut up!", that was quite a moment. I think I replayed it almost two dozen times.
And when Erin said in her "confessional" that she had hoped it was a real date... that just broke my heart.

Michael, Andy, and Dwight all being double agents had me laughing out loud.
And then when Pam joined them, I fell on the floor laughing.
The company financial situation seems to be a rather serious plotline though.
I wonder how far they are going to take it.
Creed making his getaway..hilarious! The whole murder mystery plotline was so ridiculously over the top that it worked...my sides hurt!

Hopefully it will get better -- and soon. I watch TV to "escape" from reality and being reminded of the crap situation the economy is in right now only makes me want to stop watching. :(
I certainly can't blame them for being topical, though.

Creed, as usual, is the highlight, but 20 seconds doesn't make a show.
The Nard-dog/Erin romance is the most interesting storyline going now, and they handled it well. Looking forward to more of it.
The co-manager things is still weak. They didn't make Jim an imbecile this week, which is nice, but he's still a pushover, and he bought into Michael's madness in the end.

Odd episode. Didn't think it was that funny, but it wasn't bad either.

I enjoyed this episode, but I was getting some major digital interference of some kind throughout the show. It looked like rain fade that would almost take out the signal, but it would come back after a few seconds then repeat. But it wasn't raining at all. It quit after the first 10 minutes or so but came back periodically.

Yeah it did. Coupling that with the remark written for the "making fun of me because" on the markerboard a couple of weeks ago - implying that she's been made fun of for being an orphan. (The discussion must have been edited out of the show, but it was clearly written on the board).
I also noticed that she said (kind of under her breath) that she hadn't seen the movie that Andy was referencing, hinting he kind of spoiled it for her - but she laughed about it anyway.
She is also very "by the book" - not wanting to see the contents of faxes or wanting to check with Michael on simple things.
Her character is funny, and I'm rooting for something good to finally happen to her.

I thought the episode was very funny! I love that Jim owed Michael one because Jim nixed Tube City. That was great.
Why did Pam have plastic on her hands in a few scenes? Was it related to her murder mystery character?

My two favorite parts of the episode were the cold open and the final scene (the post-script? Epilogue? Don't really know how to describe it) - each had me giggling uI loved the opening with Dwight. Had me actually laughing on my couch. I love how it's so easy for Jim to get Dwight's goat. And the faux Tarantino finale was great, but adding Pam to it at the end was awesome.
The rest of the ep was a little too real, but it also showed how Michael is an idiot savant in many ways.

I suspect Andy/Erin is the new Jim/Pam. Since Jim/Pam are, for the most part, stable now, there is probably a lot less that they can do with them to create tension (other than breaking them up, and if they did that, I think there'd be rioting in the streets). So the writers are starting over at the beginning of a new budding relationship. I, for one, am looking forward to it. They did a fantastic job with Jim/Pam, and so far, I'm enjoying what little I've seen of Andy/Erin.

Indeed! Ed Helms seems to be quite talented, vocally. I could very clearly hear the difference in the accents. He always sings in a ridiculous falsetto (but still surprisingly well, regardless), but I wonder if he's got a more realistic singing voice in there as well.

The cool thing about it was his "Florida Panhandle" vs. "Georgia" was pretty much spot-on.
Exaggerated slightly, perhaps, but it could be argued that he exaggerated the accents slightly to highlight the differences between them.
Indeed, it was well done.
It was also well played that everybody else's southern accents were far from perfect, some worse than others, but Andy nailed his.

The company financial situation seems to be a rather serious plotline though.
I wonder how far they are going to take it.
I found that slightly odd. Unless other businesses are failing (which we know is true) and as a result, less demand for paper.
They closed Buffalo (I think), and didn't Scranton absorb their clients? Certainly Scranton should be profitable (I believe they were doing well to begin with). Now, perhaps the other offices weren't faring so well (too much FPS playing).
If it goes under, there goes the show (Unless they decide to spin back off the Michael J. Scott Paper Company), so it will indeed be interesting to see how they play it.
I still want Holly back.
