I love this show too! How are the ratings? I'm not cool enough to start the thread for this week's episode or else I would ask there. I would be truly sad, like Firefly sad, were it to go away.

Well, crap. I'd like to watch this show, I've heard good things about it. But Hulu's only offering the last five episodes.

The ratings suggest the show is on the bubble. A lot depends on how the show does after it loses DWTS as a lead in. It also depends on how well midseason replacement shows do.

The ratings are good enough to all but guarantee the abc will air all 22 episodes this year.

According to Lew's link 10.9 people watched Chastle and 13.5 million watched CSI miami. I cant believe any one still watchs that CSI. I guess it must be the younger people who want to see some T and A. Even though there have been a few sceanes of Beckett looking sexy the show does not play that up. Normally she is wearing pants. I enjoy the show because of the banter between her and Castle. I just wish they would bring back the card game between Castle and the other real life writers every few shows.

DWTS had 19.4 million viewers, Castle dropped to 10.9 million.

The Castle ratings always drop a little after the final ratings are released. The ratings are adjusted to reflect DWTS overrun.

The book is pretty good too. It's shorter than I hoped, but it really does exist (Amazon and others) and makes an excellent gift! I hope they continue.

I love the show..;. One of our favorites.. I want to watch it the same night but I wait till the next to get rid of the comercials.

Fl_Gulfer, we also want to watch it right away. What I do is let the Tivo record it for about 30 minutes and then we start watching it from the begining. We catch up with the live part at about 50 minutes into the show. Only leaves about 2 minutes of commercials.
