Thank God that's over with. Seeing Barney walk in at the end, say "Daddy's home" and wink at the camera made me squee like a 5 year old. I hated them together. They sucked the coolness right out of each other. Can't wait to see next week now! :up:

I didn't really mind the Barney/Robin thing too much. But I would say (at least from a relatively new viewer of the show) that Barney should never get into a long term/serious relationship. He's much more "awesome" being single.

I also enjoyed Robin and Barney together. I understand it doesn't really fit with the alpha-male Barney character, but I thought it was a nice progression for both of them. Now they're both going to revert to where they've always been, and that's just more of the same.

I did too ... after waiting for it for a few years they weren't together long enough at all. :(

What I'd like to see is Barney and Robin have a friends with benefits relationship ... they could still be awesome separately but hit the sheets occasionally. :p

I love this show, but I'm feeling incredibly unfulfilled by the Barney/Robin relationship. So much buildup for, what, a month's worth of episodes?

Although, there is a little part of me that wonders if Ted's voice-over at the end hinted that it might not be the end. Could be wishful thinking.

This has become a show for me that I try to watch right away - not because I like it so much for it to be a Must Watch, but more of a "I'll hurry up and watch this so I can free up room to record something else".

I was amused at the initial "relationship gut" comment, but I can't stand when they start doing the fat suit stuff. I just don't find it even mildly funny.

I'm finding this show less and less funny all the time. As old as it's getting, I like Two & a Half Men a lot better than this, and neither one can touch Big Bang.
