I guess they gave everyone but Amanda Tapping and Robin Donne the week off (for the holidays?)

This episode was much better than anything else they've done this year. I also liked the director's style with the different screen panels.

Was the special effect used for the guardian the same one used by Stargate Universe the two weeks before in the episodes Air Part 3 and Water?
