Tivo Series 3 and a Network Hard Drive

I am about to install an iOmega 1 TB disk drive on my home network.

The drive will essentially work as our home media server.

Will I be able see the iOmega drive through my TIVO HD XL, which will be on the same home network?

Not directly. But it would be nice.

You need to have a PC running either Tivo Desktop, pytivo, or galleon, and then configure that program to access your network drive.
