I'm trying to use Galleon for the first time, to move video from my Mac to my Tivo for watching. (Mac OS 10.4.11, Tivo Series 2, Galleon 2.5.5) So far I haven't seen much progress in installing -- I get "No TiVos found on this network interface" on all possible interfaces (but others say they see this and Galleon works anyway, so I persist). Now, I'm trying to configure GoBack, but the ball just keep spinning and Configure Galleon is officially not responding. About an hour now... I don't know where to turn. I turned on error logging (was that for ToGo?), but I don't know where to find the log(s).

Galleon doesn't really get much if any attention anymore. You are far better off using pyTivo (or pyTivoX for Mac users) for go back functionality since those are actively maintained tools right now.

Yes, I'd love to use pyTivo, but it says must have 10.5, and I'm still on 10.4.11. Am I hopelessly behind, then, or is there another option? Or can some member try to remember back to Galleon? Thanks, Eleanor

The logs should be in a folder where Galleon is installed (I'm not familiar with where this would be on a Mac). If you can find these and post them I can take a look. On Windows (or Linux) they're usually named log.txt and gui.txt.
Before trying to get GoBack working, do the other apps work, like ToGo?
