View Full Version : Tivo deleted one of my favorite channels ???

I got a message from tivo that one of my channels was being deleted. But there is nothing wrong with that channel (it's soapnet btw) and it works fine on all the other tvs and it is till part of charter communications cable. how do i fix this ?

Go to Messages and Settings --> Settings --> Channels --> Channel List. Scroll down until you find the channel, and place a checkmark in the box.
You can also go online and fill out a form to notify TiVo of an error in your lineup.

I tried that bu the channel number is not there. Thanks for the link - will definitely do that.

You could also repeat guided setup.
From the Channel List (above) press the Enter button to enter Guided Setup to reset your channel list.
This process can take up to 30 minutes.
You may get lucky and get the channel back, otherwise you will just have to wait for TiVo to look at your lineup request.
The other possibility is that Charter is actually going to eliminate the channel, and TiVo jumped the gun, and deleted it early.

Well, 30 minutes is better than waiting 5-7 days for tivo, which is what they said in the email. :rolleyes:
