V+ box with Tivo Not recognising enter command after channel #

I have connected my Tivo up to my Virgin V+ box so I can get digital TV next month. Although I can send the codes to the V+ box, the Enter command is not being sent/received? even though I have enabled it on the Tivo.

Does anybody have any experience of using a V+ box in this way? Please? :)

1) Isn't this a UK thing? You wouldn't have much luck with guide data even if you hooked it up
2) Isn't this already a DVR?
